Our Founder

Dr. Sheila R. Smith

I am the wife of a 30-year disabled veteran. I am the mother of a veteran. I am family to those who served. These women are not a project. They are my responsibility.

At Fresh Fire International Ministries, we encounter women veterans in places most will never see — sleeping in cars, hiding in unsafe environments, carrying the weight of service and survival. We offer meals. We provide clothing. We meet urgent needs. But we know this truth: Charity relieves a moment. Legacy changes a life forever.

"They stood on the front lines for us. Now we must stand for them. We will not allow women who served this nation to be forgotten, unsafe, or unseen."
